This project involves creating a portfolio of four blog posts, each focusing on one of the Four Pillars of the Fashion Business School: People, Planet, Profit, and Purpose.
In the first blog post, the focus is on "Planet." It introduces sustainability, discusses one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), and explores key factors in sustainable fashion.
The second blog post shifts the focus to "People." It introduces this pillar, delves into the consumer behavior of Generation Z, explores strategies for attracting Gen Z consumers, and provides an example of a brand's response to diversity. It also touches on the essential skills required for success in the fashion industry.
Moving on to the "Profit" pillar in the third blog post, it starts by introducing the concept. It examines the size of the fashion industry, identifies major industry players, assesses the performance of different industry sectors, and explores strategies for brand competitiveness, especially during uncertain economic times. The blog post also discusses the role of creative directors in balancing creativity and commerce.
Finally, the fourth blog post centers on the "Purpose" pillar. It introduces the idea of the circular economy, describes the sharing economy, gives an example of a brand engaged in philanthropy, and highlights the significance of brand philosophy. It also discusses how brands effectively communicate their purpose to Generation Z.
